Since 1997, ALUMNUS has been where government and businesses have looked to satisfy their translation and interpreting needs in Lithuania, especially for large-scale projects with tight deadlines. Here are some examples of projects in which we have been engaged:

ALUMNUS’ output to date consists of the Lithuanian translations of the main instruments of the EC primary legislation, including the Treaty of Rome, the Euratom Treaty, the Single European Act, the Maastricht Treaty and the Amsterdam Treaty.

At the start of 2000, the External Translation Unit of the European Commission placed ALUMNUS on its list of contractors working for the European Commission and the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union. We have been providing translation services to the European Commission ever since.

ALUMNUS covered all translation and interpreting needs for several Phare/Twinning and World Bank projects. These were implemented by the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Customs Department, as well as a number of other institutions.

ALUMNUS has worked with a number of government agencies as well as different commercial and business interests. Our current and previous clients include the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, Ministry of National Defence, State Tax Inspectorate, World Bank, British Council, Lithuanian Development Agency, Mazeikiu Nafta oil refinery, Ernst & Young Baltic, Bitė Lietuva mobile telecommunications, Ekonominės konsultacijos ir tyrimai consultancy services, ICON Latvia medical research and many others.

Ongoing projects include:
